Total Beauty Institute, Inc. is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS).
On July 14, 2026, NACCAS placed Total Beauty Institute on Low Outcomes Monitoring, an action that constitutes Probation or Equivalent Status under the NACCAS Rules of Practice and Procedure. This action relates to the institution’s 2024 Institutional and Programmatic Licensure Examination outcomes, which were reported below NACCAS’ minimum required standard.
What this means:
- Total Beauty Institute remains accredited by NACCAS.
- Students continue to receive instruction in the institution’s approved educational programs.
- The institution is implementing corrective actions designed to improve graduate licensure examination success and return to full compliance with NACCAS standards.
- NACCAS has established a compliance period through January 2028 for the institution to demonstrate compliance with the applicable student outcome requirements.
As required by NACCAS, Total Beauty Institute has also established and maintains a Teach-Out Plan to protect students should circumstances ever require implementation. The existence of a Teach-Out Plan is a regulatory requirement associated with the institution’s current accreditation status and does not indicate that the institution is closing or has ceased operations.
Prospective students are encouraged to discuss this disclosure with an Admissions Representative before enrolling. A written disclosure and acknowledgment will be provided to each prospective student prior to signing an Enrollment Agreement or making any financial commitment to the institution.
